Resident FAQ
Thank you for your interest in Rita Shaw Property Management and our current listing. We understand that applying in today's rental market can be competitive and stressful, and we hope to make this process as seamless as possible for you.
What documents are required for a rental application?
To proceed with your application, you will need to provide one of the following: three months of pay stubs, a recent bank statement, two years of tax returns, or an escrow net sheet (if you are selling a home). You will also need to provide copies of your identification.
How quickly can my application be processed?
We will verify all employment and rental references. The speed of this process depends on how quickly your references respond to our inquiries. Once we have this information, we can present, approve, or deny your application.
How will I be notified if my application is accepted?
If your application is approved, you will receive an "Application Acceptance Letter." This letter will inform you that your application has been approved, offer you the unit, specify the move-in date, and provide instructions on how to submit your deposit to secure the unit within 48 hours.
How will I be notified if my application is denied?
If your application is not selected, you will receive an "Application Denial Letter." This letter will inform you that another applicant has been selected and will explain that the decision was based on factors such as creditworthiness, rental history, and overall suitability for the property. It will also encourage you to continue your search and check for future rental opportunities.
